# How to delete your account

## Data deletion

When you request deletion of your Load Logistics account, all personal data associated with that account will be permanently deleted from our system, unless we are required to retain specific information for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons. You can review our retention practices in our [Privacy Policy](https://loadlogistics.com.au/company/privacy-policy).

## Follow these steps

**\[Step #1]** Log into your account: <https://app.loadlogistics.com.au/auth/sign-in> .

**\[Step #2]** In the top navigation bar, click '**Account**' (The circle with the image).

**\[Step #3]** In the dropdown click '**Settings**'.

**\[Step #4]** On the page, click '**Account**'.

**\[Step #5]** Click the '**Delete account**' button.

**\[Step #6]** In the popup, confirm account deletion, by clicking '**Delete account**'.
